Swimming Pools

Main and kiddie pools are open 10 am – 10 pm, 7 days a week during the summer. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No lifeguard on duty. Premises monitored 24 hrs by high definition video surveillance.

The Park community pools are available to Park residents and their guests (guests must be accompanied by a Park resident). An access card is required to enter the gated area. The main pool is a 40x25’ sport pool with two shallow ends (4’) and a deeper middle (6’). There are two sets of steps at the north end, and ladders on both sides of the deeper middle. The kiddie pool is 12x12’ and 3’ deep. No lifeguard is on duty for either pool.

Men’s and Women’s restrooms are available within the gated area, in addition to a cash vending machine with canned pop.

The Park HOA Community Pool Rules & Regulations

Failure to comply with these rules will result in deactivation of pool access card and suspension of pool privileges for a period of time as determined by the Board of Directors. Premises monitored 24 hrs. by high definition video surveillance. Pool use is a privilege, not a right.

  1. Pool hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Adults only lap swim is from 6-10 a.m. The pool will be open beginning in May of each year through Labor Day Weekend. At the discretion of the Board of Directors, the pool season may be extended. Exact dates will be posted on this page.

  2. The pool’s use is restricted to The Park Homeowners Association residents and their guests. There are no exceptions. All guests must be accompanied by a resident (resident must stay with guest).

    1. No more than 6 guests are allowed by a Homeowner unless they have emailed and received confirmation from The Park HOA.

    2. Children (over the age of 16) of Homeowners may not have more than two guests without the Homeowner present.

  3. There is no lifeguard on duty. Therefore, persons using the pool and pool area do so at their own risk. State Statute requires that “Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age, parent or guardian)”. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate suspension of pool access. Unattended swimming puts the insurance policy of the Association at risk. If the insurance policy is cancelled, the pool will close.

  4. Pool access cards to the community pool are the property of the Association and as such may be revoked by any Board member for failure to comply with the posted rules and regulations. Use of the pool is a privilege, not a right.

  5. Failure to comply with these rules will result in deactivation of pool access card and suspension of pool privileges for a period of time as determined by the Board of Directors.

  6. The following WILL NOT BE PERMITTED:

    1. DIVING or any disorderly conduct including, but not limited to: Rough play, running, riding on shoulders, towel flipping, or dunking

    2. Glass items (including bottles, dishes, etc.)

    3. Smoking or Vaping

    4. Jeans or cut-offs

    5. Pets in the pool area

    6. Bicycles, scooters, skates, etc.

    7. Profane, abusive or discriminatory language

    8. Boom-box type stereo’s/Bluetooth speakers (only personal stereo’s with headphones are allowed)

    9. Spitting, spouting of water, or blowing nose into pool

    10. Tanning oils (only tanning lotions are allowed)

    11. Use of air mattresses

    12. Swimming in the pool after posted hours

    13. Letting others into the pool who do not have their pool access card or loaning your pool card to others

  7. All persons using the swimming pool shall take a cleansing shower or bath before entering the swimming pool.

  8. Infants and toddlers will be required to wear swimming approved diapers to prevent leakage into the pools (as necessary until properly trained).

  9. Any person known to have an infectious or communicable disease shall be excluded from the swimming pool. Persons having any considerable area of exposed sub-epidermal tissue, open blisters, or cuts shall be warned that these are likely to become infected and are advised not to use the pool.

  10. Any resident who owes more than the current quarter Park Homeowners Association dues will have their pool access card deactivated and will have pool privileges suspended.

  11. A pool access card is required to both enter and exit the pool. Pool card use will be monitored to determine if someone is letting others in and out of the pool area. Residents are not to provide pool access to others who do not have their pool access card with them.

  12. In no instance shall a resident, a member of the Board of Directors, or any member of the Association be held responsible for accidents, injury or loss of personal items.

  13. There will be a $25 charge for replacing a lost pool access card.

  14. Any person caught vandalizing the property, equipment or vending machines will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

  15. Pool maintenance will be performed on an as needed basis. All persons are expected to yield the pool to any and all maintenance personnel. In the event of chemicals being added to the pool, it may be necessary to close the pool temporarily to allow the chemicals to circulate.

  16. All posted notices and regulations must be obeyed.

Pool Access Card Request

Pool access cards to the community pool are the property of the Association and as such may be revoked by any Board member for failure to comply with the posted rules and regulations.

There is a $25 charge for replacing a lost pool access card.
