Yard of the Month - July 2022

Congratulations to Dan and Judy Voyles, 10102 Yosemite Drive, for July Yard of the Month. Judy says this is Dan’s yard, but she spread the wildflower seed in the front flower bed which really makes this yard stand out when you drive by. Dan and Judy moved to The Park in 1992. In May of 1992 Dan sprigged in a Zoysia front lawn following a year later the back lawn. His lawn looks and walks like a golf green. Zoysia loves lots of sun, a commodity that we have a lot of this Summer. A neat surprise when you walk up to the front door is their water feature stocked with beautiful Koi fish. They emerge from under the water lilies when you walk up expecting you to feed them.

The Backyard is just as pleasant as the front yard with an evening shaded patio and flagpole in the corner. Dan is recently retired after 39 years at Vulcan. Judy is IT Manager at Dondlinger Construction. She is looking forward to retiring in less than two years. Thank you, Dan and Judy, for making 10102 Yosemite Drive a beautiful and refreshing spot in The Park. We are proud of you.
